Terms of Service

by creating an arbastro account or using any arbastro service (including arbastro.com, friendpath.arbastro.com, our Discord servers, or our Roblox groups and games), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

if you do not agree, do not use our services. we may update these Terms periodically; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

you must be at least 13 years old to create an arbastro account. if you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

you must provide accurate information when creating your account, including a valid email address, an authentic Discord account, and an authentic Roblox account.

you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

one arbastro account per person. you may not create accounts for purposes of evading bans, duplicating giveaway entries, or impersonating others. we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

arbastro requires you to link a Discord account and a Roblox account to your arbastro account. when you link these, we receive only the information you authorize via the respective OAuth scopes (typically: user id, username, display name, avatar URL).

unlinking a third-party account from your arbastro account does not delete your records with that third party. you may also revoke arbastro's authorization directly with Discord or Roblox at any time.

arbastro is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord, Inc. or Roblox Corporation. references to those services are nominative.

arbastro Suite is an optional paid subscription that grants additional benefits, including but not limited to ad-free friendpath usage, complimentary daily API allowances, and eligibility for certain subsidiary perks. specific benefits may change over time.

payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. arbastro does not store your payment card details. subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. you may cancel at any time from your account billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you will retain Suite access until then.

refunds are issued at arbastro's discretion. by default, fees are non-refundable except where required by law (e.g., the EU consumer cooling-off period when applicable).

the FriendPath Scan API — the endpoint that returns the connection path between two Roblox users — is a metered service. logged-in arbastro Suite members receive 50 free FriendPath Scan API calls per day. usage beyond the free allowance is billed via Stripe at $0.005 per scan. this Suite perk applies only to the FriendPath Scan endpoint; other FriendPath API endpoints (if any) are not covered by this allowance. you are responsible for monitoring your usage and securing your API keys.

you may not use the API to scrape, mass-export, or otherwise abuse the underlying Roblox data or services. we may suspend keys or terminate API access for violations.

you agree not to:

• use arbastro services to harass, defame, threaten, or harm others;
• attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, ad gates, or billing systems;
• scrape, copy, or redistribute content without written permission;
• impersonate arbastro staff, subsidiaries, or other users;
• interfere with the operation or security of our services;
• violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

arbastro and its logos, names, and content are the intellectual property of arbastro and its licensors. you may not use them without permission, except for nominative reference.

user-submitted content (e.g., usernames, audit notes) remains yours, but you grant arbastro a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and process such content as needed to operate the services.

our services rely on third parties including Supabase (auth/database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Discord (linking and notifications), Roblox (linking and friend graph), Vercel (hosting), and Cloudflare (DNS). their respective terms govern your interaction with their portions of the service.

arbastro services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. we do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

to the maximum extent permitted by law, arbastro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses, even if advised of the possibility. our aggregate liability for any direct damages is capped at the greater of $20 USD or the amount you paid arbastro in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may permanently delete your arbastro account at any time from Settings → Profile → Danger Zone. This requires multi-step confirmation, including re-entering your password (if set) and typing the phrase "delete my account" exactly. Once confirmed, deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Upon deletion:

• your profile, username, bio, avatar, linked accounts, external connections, API keys, audit history, and authentication identity are permanently removed;
• active arbastro Suite and FriendPath Scan API subscriptions are canceled at Stripe immediately with no proration or automatic refund — you keep access only through any already-paid period;
• API keys are revoked instantly; external apps depending on those keys will fail;
• the arbastro Suite Discord role is removed from your linked Discord account;
• game integrations (e.g., Roblox) querying your Suite status will report you as no-Suite from the moment of deletion;
• external connections (GitHub, X, etc.) are unlinked from arbastro but the underlying accounts on those platforms remain — you are responsible for revoking arbastro's authorization on each provider directly if desired.

We may suspend or terminate your account ourselves for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, chargebacks (see Section 5), or any reason on reasonable notice. Provisions that by their nature survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law, no-refund clauses for already-rendered services) survive termination.

By default, every active arbastro account appears in the public account directory at arbastro.com/users with profile, username, avatar, bio, role badge, joined-on date, and any linked accounts you have individually marked as public. Email, phone, payment data, IP address, MFA factors, audit logs, and any link you have marked private are never shown.

You may opt your entire profile out of the directory at any time from Settings → Profile. You may also toggle visibility per-link (each linked Discord, Roblox, or external connection).

If you have linked a Discord account and joined the arbastro Discord server, our bot automatically grants or revokes a Suite role on your Discord account based on your current arbastro Suite subscription status. The bot reads only your linked Discord user ID and writes only to that role; we do not access your Discord messages, friends, DMs, or other servers. You can disable this by leaving the arbastro Discord server or by unlinking your Discord from your arbastro account.

If you initiate a payment dispute or chargeback through your bank or card network rather than contacting us first, we may immediately and permanently terminate your arbastro account, cancel all subscriptions, revoke API keys, remove the Suite Discord role, and ban you from re-creating an account. This is true even if the chargeback is later reversed. Please contact [email protected] first to resolve any billing dispute amicably.

the careers area at arbastro.com/careers (formerly /contracts) lets you apply for open roles at arbastro. To submit an application you must have an activated arbastro account; the application form will be auto-filled with your username, email, and primary linked Discord and Roblox handles. Submitting an application means you agree to the Applicant Arbitration Agreement and certify the truthfulness of the information you provide.

arbastro may use Artificial Intelligence to help triage and summarize applications. AI is never the sole decision-maker for any hire, no-hire, or compensation decision; a human reviews every application that progresses past initial screening. arbastro is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment law.

these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which arbastro is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. you and arbastro agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally first by contacting us at [email protected]. unresolved disputes shall be brought exclusively in courts of competent jurisdiction in that operating region.
